I'm very pleased to welcome you on this new version of Prakti Design's website.
We are a committed, focused, inventive team, transparent in all our work and all our dealings.
We are developing and testing a range of environmentally friendly cooking stoves. Our aim is to create affordable, easily replicable fuel-efficient stoves for thousands of people living in villages in Asia and Africa.
We are in a position now, after a lot of hard work, to distribute our first range of highly efficient, biomass-fuelled stoves.
Our budget is limited, mostly our personal savings, but with our wide and deep experience as engineers and designers, and our strong commitment to bring appropriate products within the reach of poor communities, we are confident we shall succeed in our enterprise and play a significant part in the movement to create innovative, sustainable energy solutions for some of the least privileged people on our planet.
Our commitment can be summed up as to promote the use of appropriate, innovative technologies to make viable products that will substantially improve the environment, health and lives of millions.
